DOCTRINE OF HEAVENLY PLACES

A. The Greek preposition EN plus the locative of place from the noun OURANIOS is found in number of verses. Eph 1:3 mentions it as the sphere of our escrow blessings and our portfolio of invisible assets prepared for us by God the Father in eternity past.

B. Eph 1:20 mentions heavenly places as the location of the extension of the great power experiment of the Hypostatic Union into the Church Age. The

strategic victory of our Lord is related to the prehistoric angelic conflict.

C. Eph 2:6 says that the heavenlies is the place of the Church Age believer’s positional superiority to all angels.

D. Eph 3:10 uses the heavenlies as the place of the rebuttal testimony of the Church in the great power experiment of the Church Age.

E. Eph 6:12 teaches that the heavenlies is the place of the invisible angelic conflict during this dispensation.
